More Asbestos/Mesothelioma Bill info

Here are two links to studies that show that the current asbestos trust fund bill in Congress is woefully inadequate to cover all the expected victims of mesothelioma exposure.  It claims that this fund will leave 33,000 mesothelioma victims without compensation.

Labor Group Opposes Asbestos Bill

The largest U.S. labor organization said on Friday it opposed recently introduced legislation to create a $140 billion asbestos fund because it failed to do enough to compensate victims of the fibrous mineral.

The AFL-CIO labor federation said in a statement that the bill introduced this week by a bipartisan group of senators "fails to ensure victims just and timely compensation and would leave tens of thousands of individuals with no remedy at all.
